Magic: The Gathering : Planeswalkers Extended Art

Those are extended art versions of the original Planeswalkers illustrations I've painted 15 years ago for Magic: The Gathering. While dealing with horizontal frame I've made a point to keep the exact same painting style I've used back in the days. Fast forwarding over a decade later, my style has evolved a lot and if I were to create these characters now, they would be very different! This project is therefore a great opportunity to reflect on my past self and unravel my creative process. If felt like an art restorer, working to keep the spirit of my original artworks in a whole new composition.
